We are situated in the green mountains 10 minutes from Coffs Harbour. Find us using your NavMan or on Google maps in your smart phone for follow the driving directions below.

START: Coffs Harbour NSW

  • From the Pacific Hwy/ National Route 1
  • Turn left onto Pacific Hwy/National Route 1 ( if you are travelling north)
  • Take the 1st right on to West High St Go through 1 roundabout drive 1.1 km
  • At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Coramba Rd Go through 1 roundabout drive for 6.0 km
  • Turn left onto Mount Browne Rd drive 3.5 km Arrive at your destination ( on your left – just past the “triple ridges sign”)

Very Enjoyable Stay

We had a very enjoyable short stay at this lovely cottage which has everything you need. The beds were very comfortable and there is a deep bath to soak in. It was nice to see morning sun streaming through the stained glass windows. The lounge on the verandah was great for catching some sunshine and listening to the birds.

Private and Peaceful

Loved the federation style and overall feel of this little cottage. It is conveniently not too far from Coffs Harbour but is private and peaceful. Very comfortable bed. We would definitely like to stay again and for longer.

We Had a Great Stay

We had a great stay at Mount Browne Cottage. The cottage is lovely and we especially enjoyed the wood fireplace in the evening. The cottage was really well equipped with everything we needed, including very comfortable beds with electric blankets. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Lovely, Relaxing Place

Recently spent a few nights at Mount Brown Cottage in Coffs Harbour... such a lovely, relaxing place, exactly as depicted in the photos, and was just the spot for a couple of old friends to catch-up. A pleasant 15-20 min drive from town, in the hinterland where birdsong and the sound of the running stream located at front of property can be heard while sitting on the verandah or on the grassed area in the sun, enjoying some downtime, good banter & a cuppa. Magic ! The cottage is clean, the beds were comfy, the kitchen is well equipped with all the appliances and for winter stays, the woodbox (for the indoor wood fire) is full ! Dale is easy to communicate with and is quick to respond to messages. All-in-all, we both thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Our Puppies Loved It

What a beautiful and cozy cottage! We stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful stay. Our puppies loved it too! Facilities were great and the cottage is well provisioned. From the kitchen with everything you would need to pre-cut wood for the fire place and even a weber bbq on the veranda- truely a home away from home. Will definitely be returning for another stay.

Cosy Little Cottage

What a beautifully cosy little cottage set within a stunning location!! Every creature comfort you could possible think of is provided from an amazing fireplace with plenty of pre-cut wood to a fully equipped kitchen, clawed bath tub, comfy bed, coffee machine, Webber BBQ, netflix, etc. My puppies had a safe and secure yard for the night with toys and blankets and sooo much room to run and explore during the day, including some picturesque creek beds with mini waterfalls. The peace and serenity is better than you could imagine!! And is just down the road from Magic Pools in Upper Orara – a must see especially if you have water loving dogs or kids!! Thanks so much for this little slice of heaven!! I will never forget it and will be back for sure!

Calm and Comfortable

Calm and comfortable. We have been traveling with our small dog from Adelaide to Brisbane and finding places to stay along the way proved to be a challenge. When we saw that this cottage was ‘pet friendly’ it gave us an ideal opportunity to have a bit of a spell over two nights and recover from all the driving. It was a great choice. It’s a lovely property, just ten minutes away from Coffs Harbour in a lovely rainforest setting. Lots of birds (even saw a superb blue wren), a creek at the bottom of the garden, a fenced in area for the dog, a warm fire and a really well equipped home away from home. We cooked a roast dinner without a fuss… Very comfortable, great amenities – would be pleased to come back any time.

Absolutely Amazing

Absolutely amazing cozy cottage. Extremely relaxing and peaceful. Has everything you need. Beds are so comfortable. Extremely tidy and clean. Located in a beautiful rain forest setting. Only a 10 minute drive from all the main places in Coffs Harbour. Will definitely be staying again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Lovely and Relaxing

Lovely and relaxing. We stayed here with our two fur babies for two days on our way to Brisbane and then (booked for two days) on the return journey but extended to four days as this lovely cottage has everything for humans and dogs to ensure a relaxing time. It was a great and quiet location that just oozed kicked back relaxation from sitting on the deck watching kookaburras or stretched out on the lounge binging on Netflix (included). Kitchen had everything for staying in or town was 10 minutes away. Thank you Dale it was lovely to meet you. Highly recommend this boutique accommodation

Lovely Place to Relax

A lovely place to relax and unwind without having to leave our dogs behind. The cottage was just as expected, because we have stayed here previously. Great area for the dogs and good to be allowed to have them inside the property as well as the security of the fenced back yard. The location is fantastic – gorgeous swimming holes nearby. Only 10 minutes out of town, and close to many other Coffs Coast sights. There was nothing really that we didn’t like!

Quiet and Cozy

This was a quiet and very cozy cottage only located 10 minutes from Coffs Harbour. The fire place was amazing was very clean and comfortable with everything you need provided and a fully equipped kitchen. Would definitely recommend this place to to anyone looking for a nice place to unwind and relax. Dale was so helpful with directions and any updates that I need to know before my arrival was so polite and friendly.
